I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
